Our story begins in 1978, when our parents set out to bring their favorite Asian flavors to their new California neighborhood. Sweety, the mom-and-pop mochi ice cream shop, was born. Soon after, so were we.

EVERYONE IS FAMILY
Alongside our grandparents, uncles, and aunts, we spent our childhoods “helping” in the ice cream factory, skimming bits of warm, gooey mochi dough and taste testing all the ice cream. Once word got out, the world wanted more, and soon Sweety was in markets across the country.

GOOD NEWS, THE KIDS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE ICE CREAM BUSINESS
So when we heard our parents were ready to retire, we knew what we had to do; quit our jobs and take over the ice cream factory. We’re delighted to keep sharing our family’s favorite treats with you, and we hope you love them as much as we do.
